Mr. Squiggle is a marionette with a pencil for a nose, who visits his friends from his home at 93 Crater Crescent on the Moon, flying in his pet rocket (named Rocket). In every episode he would create several pictures from “squiggles“ sent in by children from around the country. Mr Squiggle is a cheery, scatter-brained character who is often distracted and occasionally goes for “space-walks“, leading his assistant to calm him down and get him to focus on the task of drawing. Mr. Squiggle was helped by a human assistant in all of the show's incarnations; they included Miss Gina (Gina Curtis), Miss Pat (Pat Lovell), Miss Jane (Jane Fennell), and later series featured Roxanne (Roxanne Kimmorley) and Rebecca (Rebecca Hetherington, Hetherington's daughter). Other puppet characters that appeared in the show included: Blackboard, the grumpy blackboard that Mr. Squiggle uses for an easel, whose catchphrases are “Hurrry up“, “Hmmph“, “Double hmmph“ and “Booorrriing“.

Asaph (Charles Ruggles) is a meek, mild-mannered homebody who occasionally shows some backbone to his prudish, overbearing boss, only to be beaten down again. Friends and Heroes is a Christian children's program that airs on TBN, Smile of a Child TV, and was also shown on BBC TV. The show is both traditionally animated and computer animated. It takes place from 69 - 71 AD. There are three series each of 13 Episodes: Series 1 is set in Alexandria, Egypt; Series 2 in Jerusalem and Series 3 in Rome. The series was created by Brian D. Brown and Eric J. Danenberg, who also worked on The Storykeepers.

Sam and Friends was an early live-action/puppet television show created by puppeteer Jim Henson and his eventual wife Jane. It was taped and aired locally in Washington, D.C. on WRC-TV in black-and-white, and later, color on weekdays from May 9, 1955 to December 15, 1961.

Recorded in 1986 this is a fantastic DVD. Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Ray Charles performing 17 tracks with a back up band led by the Stones' Ron Wood. Fats Domino leads off the DVD with a clutch of his hits, including "The Fat Man" and "Blueberry Hill" in his own inimitable style, this is followed by Jerry Lee performing tracks including of course "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" and "Great Balls of Fire". Then Ray Charles takes over with "I've Got a Woman" and "Drown In My Own Tears" before all three of them get together to perform four more tracks.
